If you prefer hotel stays, you are sure to find your own little sweet spot on the island. These hotels are regarded as the most blissful resorts, hidden treasures and all-inclusive hotels on the globe.
If you truly want to see a land filled with rich and diverse culture then this is the island. The people of Hawaii are from so many different places and it is the only US State, which is like this.
It was originally settled by people from the islands of Polynesia.
Now, you can see so many nations represented including Hispanic/Latinos, Filipinos, Japanese, Chinese, Caucasians and many others.
Initially, laborers came to cultivate the sugar and pineapple plantations. You could find them everywhere on the main island. Every one of these peoples took with them their individual and distinctive cultures. Nowadays, Hawaii is beyond doubt a mishmash of all of these traditions.
A quarter of the island’s citizens have an ancestral background from at least two or more races.
How Hawaii Became a US State
Polynesian settlers traveled from the Marquesas Islands and showed up on the Hawaii beaches hundreds of years before Christopher Columbus even visited there. Captain James Cook did not know about it until 1778. However, each island was united under King Kamehameha, in 1795.
“The 1820's saw the arrival of missionaries from New England. Less than 100 years after the islands were unified by Kamehameha I, the Hawaiian monarchy was overthrown by government white ministers, planters and businessmen, establishing the Republic of Hawaii.”
But by 1898, The Republic was done away with because the United States annexed Hawaii. “On December 7, 1941, the Empire of Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and the United States entered World War II.”
The government of the United States then made it the 50th State by 1959.

You will find an immense amalgamation of sea life at the Hanauma Bay. It is a gorgeous Hawaii beach, which receives many visitors.
It lies in a volcanic crater, which was flooded and formed thousands of years ago.

This West Maui pocket beach is bordered by a coconut tree copse and sandwiched between two lava points. It is most famous for its serene surf. Families with young children will be grateful for this and it is perfect for the novice swimmer.

As posted in USA Today, “Kapalua Bay Beach in Maui, Hawaii, is the USA’s best beach, according to an annual survey by “Dr. Beach.” It is “a perfect beach for swimming and snorkeling in the clear, azure waters that are protected by two headlands formed long ago by lava flows into the sea.”
Here you will find one of the most wonderful summer vacation spots. It is only one-half mile long band of white sand. However, if you looking for a beach that possibly stepped out of your fantasy, then Hapuna Beach is it. It has over 200 feet wide sparkling, clear water access. This becomes an untamed, thundering shoreline in winter.
Luckily, it is located on the main Island’s west side.
An ideal vacation is to be had by anyone who visits Hapuna Beach with its ivory sand’s gentle gradient and shallow sandbar that leads out for over 25 years. Sunbathing, boogie boarding, swimming and snorkeling are all enjoyable activities available on this Hawaii beach.
Profuse varieties of fish and coral are a delightful treat for snorkelers.
Poipu Beach is known to have “two beaches in one" as it’s split by a tombola (known as Nukumoi). “Tombola is a narrow sand spit that extends from shore to an island. The tombola at Poipu Beach is the favorite spot for the napping, endangered Hawaiian monk seals. The area on the western side of the beach is a favorite for beginning bodyboarders. Small waves break gently on the shallow sandbar and create a fun area for children to play.”
Poipu Beach Park has also been voted one of the best beaches in America.
Families are often seen enjoying this lovely Hawaii beach. Children often play by the protected pool-like area. It is a shelter provided by a small boulder breakwater. It is a preferred destination for many family-friendly activities including lawn games picnics, and birthday parties.
